Explaining how the business operates is a vital part of internal communications, and finding engaging ways of telling the story helps employees see the part they play.
Cemex UK wanted employees to see at a glance where they fit inside the business, the departments they work in, and the products they work with.
Avvio created a storymap that explained operation across all levels of the business. By deconstructing the content and isolating the key elements to be included, we visualised the structure of the organisation and the nature of the key job roles within it.
To add depth, the plan was then brought to life with a mixture of illustrations and photography and turned into an interactive presentation.
Result:
The interactive version of the storymap was a huge hit and is now being rolled out to employees by Cemex UK President Gonzalo Galindo
