Employees and customers go back in time to see TV they love.
Sky asked Avvio to help celebrate its landmark 20th anniversary. We made sure it was a celebration to remember for both employees and customers.

Avvio created a dedicated website that would give Sky customers the opportunity to reflect on the company's highlights from the last two decades - from historic moments, such as the fall of the Berlin Wall to President Obama’s historical election win. Video content on the site included an advertising ‘vault’ of Sky’s memorable ads, top Sky News moments and a bespoke video of Sky customers talking about how TV has changed over the last 20 years.
Because of the huge amount of incredible footage being hosted, the website posed many technical challenges working in both Flash and HTML. All of the videos were hosted on a Content Distribution Network (CDN) to ensure the user experience was optimised for large traffic volumes.
