Nationwide wanted a Leadership event with a difference. They wanted to take their audience out of their comfort zone and create an event that energised them to be bold and make creative decisions.

The desired outcome would be a leadership team that was ready and actively involved in developing the narrative for Nationwide’s company vision.

Our Approach

We proposed the core theme ‘Fresh Thinking’, and tailored the one-day event around this thought.

As well as the creative theme, set design and venue dressing we also developed all the content and activities for the day. We devised a variety of sessions that took delegates on a journey of discovery.

Sessions varied from getting hands on with the latest tech from the likes of Vodafone and Reply, to interactive workshops that explored new methods of problem solving.

Finally delegates got to apply what they’d learnt in brainstorming sessions that answered some key business challenges that to help shape the future of Nationwide.


The event was a great success, with overwhelmingly positive feedback scores from attendees:

97% of attendees said it was a good use of their time

94% said they had a better understanding of how Nationwide operate

95% left with new ideas and fresh ways to do things

90% felt it was an opportunity to influence the future of Nationwide
